Took off on bikes with Brendan and Thomas -headed for the beach. Right outside Lund, the scenery turns to farmland with great tall wind turbines up close and in the distance. It was beautiful. The blades were spinning rapidly in the high winds. I love this -human beings harvesting the wind where we harvest grain -elegant engineering -silent spinning. Brendan got a flat tire before we reached the beach so we walked across a field to see a turbine up close. This is a beautiful part of Sweden.
